I am really happy with the quality of our "Firengine" Red Paint job Seahorse have applied...Bill"s Paint Booth is great and I think the Training and advice Randal 462-5 offered with his lifetime of spray painting experience helped a little so the paint team is first class...

As an owner who IS going to scratch the hull probably sooner than later I have been wondering about repairability of the paint job.....there is a great forum going on at the moment on this exact subject on www.sailnet.com just put "AWLGRIP" in the forum search or "awlgrip on the hull...good or bad?"

I was very pleasantly surprised to find that most worry about the Awlgrip repairability....and the consensus is Imron LPU is the way to go, so Seahorse Paint systems look OK but Acrylic may be better than Polyester...check out the sailnet forum if you want to know about hull paints....

Lifetime sailing including 1990 BOC Singlehanded Around World Race...many Antarctic sailing expeditions....lived together alone in a box in Antarctica for a year.
