It looks like 6 of us will be finished around the same time and I wonder if a group buy and group shipping is in order.

There will be a long list of common things like outboards, Port Supply commissioning items, etc that we will all need and perhaps some more specialised items like electronics that we may agree on. For example there is a quantity deal to be had on the Echo Pilot forward looking sonar that I want.

Further savings could be had on shipping if someone could consolidate all this and ship in a container to HK. A 20' can from the west coast to HK is about 1100 USD, and really cheap compared to a lot of individual air shipments.

Is this a practical idea?
