Bill:
I'm interested in seeing the aft windows that provide a transom view. Interior and exterior pictures. Can windows be installed like the old sailing ships? (like the Santa Maria?) i think this would give her a very nautical look as opposed to the port holes. I like the portholes everywhere else, but the aft stateroom would be nice if there were more light entering. I realize she would be less seaworthy. Capt. Mark Niefer |

The 41 is the first boat with the bed/office/den arrangement in the aft cabin. It has the two standard ports aft. However, I agree with you, some larger windows, maybe using deck hatches, would be nice. |

Bill, I love this design. I have been looking at the 41 with a friend who wants to build one. Our wives don't understand us. I agree, windows aft would be nice.

Bill-
The 41' looks great. How about some deadlights on the deck and bigger windows below. More light and ventilation would really improve the boat.......would the boat remain as seaworthy? Truly important, but remember 90% of the time, the boat will be at anchor in some harbor. Just saw your Mandarin 52 Trawler in California, now there is an airy boat.
