spares list

It is time for me to begin purchasing spares and tools and wonder if any listees would share their shopping list.
This would be a valuable work in progress to all Duck owners, and specially to those of us that are sailing their Duck home on its own bottom.

Excel format would be great and we could do 2 lists for those with Deere and Iveco engines.

Hi, Robert. I like the idea of a spring drive starter motor. I'm going to look into that.

Instead of an alternator repair kit, I upgraded to a larger Balmar and kept the old Delco as a spare.

Bill Kimley has a supplier for the starter in the UK

I am buying a second Balmer MC624 for plug and play replacement. While the Leece Neville alternators have integral taper charge regulators, I am removing these and using the Balmer. One could re&re the LN for a spare but plug and play is so simple and the Balmer is not too expensive.
