I'm in the "getting smart" stage of deciding whether or not to build a DD-4X (either 44,46, or 48). To that end, I would love to visit someone who is presently in the steel fabrication stage of constructing their boat whether they or someone they have hired are building it. I'll certainly pay all expenses associated with a visit. Is there anyone willing to host me (and possibly another) for a day's visit at thier location (preferably in the US) who would also be willing to field any questions we may have?
