| Plug for the galley exhaust fan. Water has come in my vent and burned up my exhaust fan twice already so I designed this plug that can be activated from inside the boat in three tenth of a second. Faster if you're sinking. The stainless steel duct came with the boat but the ball, which I searched for for months came from pet store and is a dogs chew toy that I cut in half. It is heavy rubber and 1/4 inch thick.   (Sort of modified by Bill Kimley to include Randal's pictures. To bad the neat looking ball is out of site!) |
