This photo was mailed to me from a gentlemen in Florida. He was intrigued by the Diesel Duck design, and while researching it on line he stumbled across my sight. He thought I might like to see it. Since Duck colors are a topic of discussion here, I thought it was worth posting. Feel free to add a "Duck Sighting" if you happen upon one!

I pretty sure that is Marleen and Beno. There Duck is Aluminum and the hull and superstructure were built in Canada by a company called MacAllister or something like that. They finished the boat them selves over several years in Toronta and then going sail into the sunset (around the Cape). They are a German couple and just the best people. We visited them just after they moved the unfinisted boat to Toronto. They had web site convering their build but it is shut down. While visiting Beno I also met the owners of a steel and wooden Duck, pictured in George Bueller's book, then under construction. The wooden Duck eventually burned to the water line, if I recall, from a poorly insulated dry stack.
